Mikko Savela and Paul Gründorfer are using analog and digital real-time systems connected to high-intensity lights. Following fast-evolving processes, actions and movements, an accumulation of inputs generates an immersive, abstract experience of the presence of sound and light in the space you are currently in. The focus lies on the sculptural and direct quality of real-time sound. It’s an open encounter of the material qualities emerging from real objects and pick-up microphones with the unstable dynamics of digital feedback systems.
Olle Oljud, Born in Söderbärke 1970, but based in Gävle. Olle is doing various things, mostly art and music. But also dance and performance. He also works as a librarian. His music consists of ambience, drones, improvisation, mess and noise with home-built instruments, effect boxes and some sort of ”singing”. Gigs with others, lately a lot with Den Provisionella Ansambel.
Studies: among others IDKA and Gotland school of composition in Visby.
Member of Fylkingen, FST, Greenpeace and Amnesty.
With a sound that combines the unsettling atmosphere of dark ambient and the textured, elusive sounds of musique concrète, Aziza is the latest addition to the Gothenburg underground scene. She utilizes everything from field recordings to synthesizers to guitar feedback to create droning, layered soundscapes that are as relaxing as they are unnerving.
